1. What We Collect
When you use Otto, we collect and store the following data:
- Telegram identity: Your Telegram user ID, username, and display name. These are provided automatically by Telegram with every message.
- Messages: All text messages you send to Otto and all responses Otto sends to you.
- Files you upload: PDFs, screenshots, and voice messages you send to Otto. These are stored on our server to provide the service.
- Profile data extracted from PDFs: Employee ID, name, base, seniority, position, bid preferences, award data, pairing details, and other scheduling information extracted from documents you provide.
- Usage data: Message timestamps, session information, and message counts (used for rate limiting).
2. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your airline login credentials
- We do not access any airline system on your behalf
- We do not collect payment card details directly (payments are processed by Stripe)
- We do not intentionally collect or store medical, legal, or sensitive personal information
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to provide the Otto service:
- To maintain your profile and provide personalized advice
- To track your schedule, bid history, and award data across months
- To compare schedule changes against your stored award
- To calculate pay estimates and credit hour tracking
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse
4. Data Isolation
Your data is strictly private. Otto will never share your schedule, bids, pay information, or any other data with other users. Each user's data is completely isolated. We do not cross-reference, aggregate, or share individual user data.
5. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored on a dedicated, isolated server
- The database and uploaded files are backed up daily to encrypted cloud storage
- Access to the server is restricted to authorized administrators
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party
6. AI Processing
Your messages and uploaded documents are processed by AI language models to generate responses. This processing occurs in real-time and may involve transmitting your message content to AI service providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) via their APIs. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and API terms, which generally prohibit using API inputs for model training.
7. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- Cancelled accounts: Data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, then deleted.
- Trial accounts that expire: Data is retained for 30 days after expiration, then deleted.
- Backups: Retained for 30 days on a rolling basis.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@innovotto.net.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw from the service at any time

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy at any time. Continued use of Otto after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
